Eastern Maine Karate began in October of 1995 in the town of Cherryfield, Maine.  It has since grown to 6 locations, spread across Eastern Maine from Blue Hill to East Machias.  Our current enrollment is over 125 active training students, with 14 in the black belt ranks.

Opened January 1st, 2004 the main or hombu dojo for Eastern Maine Karate is now located in Trenton, Maine near the island of Mount Desert.  We were very fortunate and honored to have hosted Grandmaster Fusei Kise at our dojo in June of 2005, and again in September 2006.

In addition to the main dojo in Trenton, we also hold classes at the MDI YMCA in Bar Harbor, Maine.  The YMCA karate program began January 1st, 1998, and offers both youth and adult training.
